Planning the route through a car wash site

Title formatBody

Trace the queue, payment point, wash bay and exit on the site drawing. Include staff access and the places customers stop after washing so those areas do not conflict with the main route.

## Sketch the sequence

Draw the property entrance and each customer decision point. Show where drivers choose a service, where they wait, and where staff might assist. Add the route after the wash, including any vacuum or finishing area you intend to offer.

Use arrows and short notes rather than trying to produce a finished civil plan. The aim is to expose questions for the project team. Identify where a driver may need to leave the queue and how that possibility should be discussed.

## Include the less convenient day

Now test the sketch with equipment maintenance, a delivery and a customer needing help. Where does a service vehicle park? Can supplies reach storage while the business is operating? How does staff reach the equipment room?

Describe any planned periods of partial operation. If one part of the wash is unavailable, record how you expect the remaining business to function. This is an operating assumption for review, not a promise that a particular layout will support every scenario.

## Keep the building and site aligned

When the equipment or payment arrangement changes, update the vehicle-flow drawing too. Moving an entry point may affect more than the front wall. Ask the designers to review the relationship between the wash system, property access and other site uses.

For a North Florida parcel, provide available surveys, photographs and utility information without assuming they resolve all site questions. The appropriate professionals must establish the actual constraints.
