Shared box hangar or individual aircraft units?

Title formatBody

Draw how each aircraft reaches its parking position and gets back out. Then consider who controls access and what happens when another owner wants to move an aircraft at the same time.

## Define access expectations

List the intended users and describe when they need access. In a shared arrangement, ask whether one aircraft may need to move so another can leave. Record who would perform that movement and how it would be coordinated.

For individual units, discuss the range of aircraft expected and the relationship between each unit and the apron. Avoid treating a typical aircraft outline as a guarantee that every future tenant's aircraft will fit.

## Separate aircraft and support storage

Identify where tools, spare parts, towing equipment and other allowed items belong. A shared support area may suit one facility; another may need clearly assigned storage within each unit. Have the airport or property operator confirm the uses being considered.

Include maintenance and management routines. Show how staff reach shared systems, how deliveries arrive and where service work occurs without assuming every aircraft space can be unavailable at the same time.

## Compare a complete operating concept

Ask the contractor and design team to discuss both options using the same aircraft list and site information. Compare access, door packages, owner responsibilities and the potential construction phases. Do not reduce the choice to enclosed floor area alone.

If future units are planned, identify their proposed location and how the first phase would keep functioning during later work. An expansion plan should include aircraft routes and site operations, not just a second outline beside the first.
